# Create Configuration Entry

Create a new configuration entry.

### How to create a new configuration entry
1. On the **Configurations** list page, click **New** in the toolbar.
2. Fill in the fields below.
3. Click **Save** — the new configuration entry is created.

## Fields

- The **Key** field is an optional text input that must match a custom format and allows up to 100 characters and requires at least 1 character.
- The **Type** field is an optional select that requires at least 1 selection.
- The **Value** field is an optional select.
- The **Rules for this configuration** field is an optional button.
- The **Name (translation key)** field is an optional select that allows up to 100 characters.
- The **Description (translation key)** field is an optional select that allows up to 100 characters.
- The **Group key** field is an optional select that must match a custom format and allows up to 100 characters.
- The **Reserved** field is an optional text input.
