# Edit Organization

View and edit an existing organization.

- `/system/settings/organizations` — List, search and manage all organizations.
- `/system/settings/organizations/create` — Create a new organization.
- `/system/settings/organizations/{uuid}` — View and edit an existing organization. *(this page)*

## What you can do here

### How to edit an organization
1. On the **Organizations** list page, open the row actions menu on the organization you want to edit and click **Edit**.
2. Update the fields below — required: **Display name**, **Identity Owner**, **Identity Name**.
3. Click **Save** — the changes to the organization are saved.


## Fields

| **Website URL** | optional | text input — max 2048; must be a valid URL |
| **Identity Owner** | required | text input — max 255; min 1 |
| **Identity Name** | required | text input |

- The **Identity ID** field is an optional text input.
- The **Display name** field is a required text input.
- The **Website URL** field is an optional text input that allows up to 2048 characters and must be a valid URL.
- The **Identity Owner** field is a required text input that allows up to 255 characters and requires at least 1 character.
- The **Identity Name** field is a required text input.

- The **Save** action is available on this page — validates the form and saves changes to the organization and it requires the `organization.update.single` permission.
- The **Cancel** action is available on this page — discards changes and returns to the previous page.
